Grieving Your Old Life

No events at the moment

This session explores the often unspoken experience of grieving the life you had or expected following a chronic illness diagnosis.

Using the grief framework developed by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, we will examine how loss of health can impact identity, independence, and self-perception. The session combines psychoeducation with structured reflective practice to help participants understand negative thought patterns and begin navigating adjustment in a compassionate and practical way.

This is not a therapy session/medical advice, but a supportive space focused on self-awareness, adaptive coping, and small forward steps.

Suitable for individuals living with chronic illness who are navigating identity shifts, frustration, or emotional adjustment.

With your ticket to this event, you get access to a groupchat where you can  connect with others who are also grieving their old self!

"At DAYBYDAY, we understand how quickly circumstances can change and how unpredictable life can be when living with a chronic illness and/or disability.
