About the event
This workshop explores the often unspoken experience of grieving the life you had or expected following a chronic illness diagnosis.
Using the grief framework developed by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, we will examine how loss of health can impact identity, independence, and self-perception. The workshop combines psychoeducation with structured reflective practice to help participants understand negative thought patterns and begin navigating adjustment in a compassionate and practical way.
This is not a therapy session, but a supportive educational space focused on self-awareness, adaptive coping, and small forward steps.
Suitable for individuals living with chronic illness who are navigating identity shifts, frustration, or emotional adjustment.
For this workshop, we have designed a reflective worksheet to support reflection on adjustment to chronic illness. It is for personal use and does not need to be shared unless you choose to.
