Week One: Silver Screen Time With Lucy

We will talk about a popular film that has been in the cinema the previous month. If you’re a regular cinema-goer or want to start going, this is a great place for you. FilmByFilm isn’t about watching art house cinema or films you’re “supposed” to have seen. I’ve never seen Titanic. It’s about watching art in your home (or cinema) and seeing what you get from it. Does it speak to you? Did someone see it a different way? Why did they choose to do that? What does the colour purple mean? See where the film takes us.

You’ll have a month to watch the films and I’ll be making sure you have access to the film so you don’t have to spend any money renting or buying the film. Take notes if you want to, but don’t feel like you have to.
